What is social skills training?

Social skills training is a structured intervention aimed at teaching individuals the necessary skills to effectively interact and communicate with others, with the expressed goal of learning to make and keep friends. Is a clinical diagnosis required in order to participate?

No, we do not require a formal diagnosis to join our programs. What matters most is motivation and eagerness to learn social skills!

How do you assess the social skills needs of participants?

Before enrolling, we conduct an initial intake session to assess baseline skill levels, strengths, and specific challenges. This allows us to determine group placement and tailor our program to meet your individual needs.

Do you have any data to support the PEERS®

Do you offer virtual training/ telehealth?

We typically offer virtual cohorts twice a year, based on client demand. All individual sessions are conducted virtually.

Do you accept insurance?

Currently, we do not accept insurance, but we offer funding options for our clientsof the San Diego Regional Center. Schedule a free phone consultation to explore our payment options!

Do you accept San Diego Regional Center Clients?

Yes! We are excited to announce that we are now directly a vendor with the San Diego Regional Center, and our vendor # is PY3097. If you are currently a client of regional center and would like to move forward, please reach out to us to begin the process.

Do you have programs for children?

We offer two programs: PEERS® for Teens (ages 12-17) and PEERS® for Young Adults (ages 18-35+).

Is there any ongoing support available after completing the training program?

While our services conclude following the end of our program, we do provide additional services such as individual therapy and ongoing generalization support with less structured social hour events.
